Jessie Eldora Robertson
I love to take pictures of just about anything. I'm one of those people that people describe who would practically hang over a cliff to get a picture. I used to have the larger Canon with a zoom attachment, then later, a Canon Sureshot. In the past few months I am using a little digital camera -- a Canon 3.2Powershot A310 AiAF with a DigiC feature for less grain. Some of my photos are used in magazines; a few are in the International Library of Photographers (2003) book. Some have also been used on postcards.
I live, and was born, in the Central Interior of British Columbia, Canada, which is referred to as the North. I have lived in the Okanagan area as well. I received my first camera (a Kodak Brownie) at age 11 and have been taking photos ever since!! My Scottish Grandfather was a professional photographer in the early 1900's. He lived in Quebec and traveled by boat several times a year down the coast of Maine and points south.
