"All the women I paint represent my love for nature. These flower fairies are symbols of the feminine force in our lives and through them I like to evoke the feelings of splendor that flowers bring out in all of us.  My love for mermaids goes back to childhood, and, like most little girls that are now grown up, I still dream that I am a mermaid living in some enchanted undersea grotto.
