Contest Cancelled Due to Lack of Participation
Current Contest: A Day at the Beach
Description: The focus of this contest is on the beach -- can be any season, any beach, people, sunsets, sunrises, birds, sand dunes, etc -- use your best judgement & creativty

Submissions will be accepted from August 1, 2007 through Sept 15, 200712 finalists will be posted on October 1, 2007Voting will take place from October 1, 2007 through November 15, 2007Winner will be announced on November 30, 2007
Contest Rules: (contest rules will be strictly enforced)
- Submit a photograph that falls into the posted category only.
- Submit only images that are clear & sharp; they should be sent as email attachments in 72dpi jpeg format.
- Please limit the number of entries per person, per contest to three(3). The naming convention of your image should be as follows: yourname_imagename.jpg
- Only owner of image can submit photo(s) for contests.
- All images of people must be accompanied by a model release form.
Voting Rules: (voting rules will be strictly enforced)
- December's Rose personnel will choose twelve (12) of the photographs that best represent the category.
- Visitors to the site will then be asked to vote on their choice for the best photograph in the series.
Voters Please Note: the true merit of the images taken by contest finalists should be judged fairly by their peers. Multiple votes by the same parties within a single day for the same image will be disqualified -- please let the process work fairly for all entrants!!!
Prizes for Winners:
- 1st place winner: complimentary posting of 24 of their best images, to be included in both our open stock licensing program & product sales galleries.
- 2ndplace winner: complimentary posting of 16 of their best images to be included in our open stock licensing program.
- Winners will be asked to submit photos at higher resolution (300 dpi) suitable for printing.
- Winners will receive a release form which they will be asked to sign and return.
- Winners will receive copies of hosting forms which outline sales agreements & commissions.
- Winners will retain rights to their photos.
December's Rose, llc reserves the right to modify the contest rules at any time.
We also reserve the right to discard inappropriate materials.
All images on this site are the property of the named artist's, who retain the copyright to their work. Reproduction, downloading, scanning or printing of images without prior written consent is prohibited by law.
